Itinerary
- You will be picked up by the company representative at the hotel/airport, be briefed, and after departing Mt Kenya National Park which is approximately 144 km from Nairobi and located on the eastern side of the Great Rift Valley. Have your lunch at Nanyuki town Arrive having an en-route game drive as you proceed to the lodge for check-in, lunch, and rest.
- You will enjoy an afternoon game drive where you will get to enjoy the characteristics of this park.
- Among the curiosities of this park is the presence of the giant variety of pines, up to 6 meters in height, as well as lobelia, Senecio, elicit, and heather.
- Another feature of the park is the presence of the second-largest population of black rhinos (endangered species). Then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the next day.
- Dinner and overnight: The Ark.
- After breakfast, drive a day-long wildlife safari to Mt. Kenya National Park.
- You will enjoy high-altitude game viewing. Leave Aberdare in the morning and drive west to Kenya's highest mountain - the world's highest equatorial mountain - Mount Kenya. View wild animals including Elephant and Buffalo, and at night there is a chance you may spot the elusive Bongo Antelope and Leopard.
- You might consider enjoying a forest walk to learn more about Mount Kenya National Park birdlife afterwards descend the slopes of Mount Kenya and start your scenic drive to Nanyuki.
- Dinner and overnight: Comfort Garden Sweetwaters.
- After breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy crossing various panoramic scenery.
- Spend the full day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
- Ol Pejeta is a privately owned conservancy, overlooking the peaks of Mount Kenya.
- The Conservancy has a great number of wildlife including all the big five animals (elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, and buffalo) among other game.
- The conservancy also has a special sanctuary that shelters several rare and endangered species including the black rhino, Gravy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, and Chimpanzees.
- The Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the only one in Kenya. It is a home for orphaned and abused chimpanzees, rehabilitating them to help them learn to live by themselves as in their habitat.
- Dinner and Overnight: Comfort Garden Sweetwaters.
- After Breakfast, you will drive on the way toward Lake Nakuru, which is considered the home of flamingo.
- You will arrive in time for lunch at the accommodation.
- After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive to view and enjoy the park is famous for its large numbers of Flamingoes.
- Aside from that you can experience a lot of bird watching since there are over 300 different species of birds.
- The clients also get a chance to see various types of animals like the white rhino, lions, leopards, baboons, Rothschild giraffes, buffalos, and many more.
- You will then proceed to the accommodation where you will enjoy your dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the next day.
- Dinner and overnight: Ziwa Bush Lodge
- After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning game drive as you proceed towards Lake Naivasha. On arrival at the airport, you will meet with our office representative and tour driver for a warm reception and safari briefings.
- On arrival at Lake Naivasha, check in at the hotel with lunch.
- You will start the tour with a boat ride at Lake Naivasha to enjoy bird watching and sightings of hippopotamuses.
- Proceed to Crescent Island for a walking safari after a boat ride.Crescent Island hosts grazers like the Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Grant's Gazelle, Common Waterbuck, and Buffalo.
- Dinner and overnight: Naivasha Sopa Lodge
- You will have your breakfast at the lodge and then proceed to Hells Gate National Park for the early morning game drive. You can opt for a bicycle ride safari (the bicycle ride is optional at an extra cost of USD 30 per person). You can also opt to walk or drive in your safari vehicle.
- Hell’s Gate National Park is small and the only national park in Kenya to explore by foot or cycle.
- Resident wildlife is giraffes, zebras, impalas, Grant's Gazelle, warthog, and buffaloes.
- A bicycle ride with sightings of Zebra and Giraffe is a beautiful experience.
- We shall head to the Hell’s Gate Gorge, where our tour guide will give us stories of the gorge and help us trek.
- After trekking the gorge, we shall drive back to Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon with drop off at Nairobi airport at the city hotel.
