Itinerary
- Your safari will start with a pick-up at JKIA Airport or your booked hotel at Nairobi city. You will depart by 8.00 am with a drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
- On your way, you will have a stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a panorama view of the escarpment, a chance for a photo session, attend washrooms, and an opportunity to visit Curio shops.
- You will then proceed and arrive at Masai Mara, one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, in time for lunch.
- Check-in at Mara Sopa Lodge and have a hot lunch. Freshen up and have some time to relax and enjoy the property.
- Around 4 pm, you will head for an afternoon game drive. The game drive starts at the gate since the lodge is inside the park.
- The Reserve is globally famous for its exceptional population of Big cats and the Great annual wildebeest migration to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, also known as the 7th Wonder of the world.
- After the game drive, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
- Dinner and overnight: Jambo Mara Safari Camp(FB)
- Wake up with morning breakfast and exit the lodge with a packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve searching for the Big 5 and other animals.
- In case your safari falls from July to October, you will have the privilege to witness the 7th wonder of the world, the annual wildebeest migration, especially while crossing the crocodile-loaded river Mara.
- After the game drive, you will head to the lodge to freshen up and proceed for a freshly prepared hot dinner.
- Dinner and overnight:Jambo Mara Safari Camp(FB)
- You’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge before checking out around 9:00 AM.
- You can visit Maasai village on your way back to Nairobi.
- This cultural visit offers a fascinating glimpse into the traditional life of the Maasai people.
- You’ll have the chance to watch a traditional dance, learn about Maasai customs, and purchase handmade crafts and jewelry.
- After the village visit, you’ll continue your drive back to Nairobi, with an expected arrival time of around 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, depending on traffic.
